Fire Alarm Systems

Having the right system in place is your first priority but once you have the correct equipment installed you should then consider who would deal with the response of an alarm out of working hours.

We can connect your fire alarm system to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via the Dualcom or other signalling network. Having this system in place will ensure that the Fire Brigade or a third party is contacted in an emergency no matter what time of day. Remote fire alarm monitoring can help prevent a catastrophe happening when your building is empty as the fire brigade will be onsite immediately to deal with the fire.

Upon activation of a fire alarm systems the Dualcom communicator will ensure that the Fire Brigade or a 3rd party is contacted at all times helping prevent a catastrophe happening when your building is empty or confusion is caused during a fire (it is quite common for the fire brigade not to be contacted thinking some else must have phoned or are reluctant to phone 999).

Intruder Alarm Systems

Monitoring of intruder alarms is available via Dualcom or Redcare. Each level of transmission security is chosen to suit the particular risk in conjunction with insurance requirements.

CCTV Remote Monitoring

Our CCTV Systems can be monitored giving instant images to your phone or tablet as well as our monitoring service Netview.

Policed CCTV Monitoring

We also install high security BS8418:2010 CCTV Systems which allow a Police Unique Reference number to be issued and utilised should incidents occur on site.

NU Fire and Security Ltd is one of the few NSI Gold BS8418:2010 accredited companies registered to do this.

Emergency Safety Signage

Having the correct warning or protection in place is one thing but people who use the building need to know where each safety device is and how it should be used. Safety signs can give people the vital knowledge needed to operate emergency devices quickly and safely. NU Fire and Security Ltd can provide a full service for the supply and installation of all required safety signage to British Standards and The Fire Precautions Workplace Act.
